Digital Access in the Classroom
Digital access has changed throughout the last several years. It started out small with bring supplemental information into the classroom. It has evolved into having almost the entire class being digital. Digital textbooks are also available making it easier to have your material with you wherever you are.
The main concern when you are using technology is to make sure all of the students will have equal access to the technology.
Of course, if your school has enough iPads, tablets, or laptops for an entire class then half of you battle is done. Most schools have a sign out sheet that will allow teachers to sign up for a date to get the "cart." However, if the school doesn't have a class set of computers it maybe best for the teacher to either put the class in groups with varying duties or setup a small group rotation so everyone will get an opportunity to use the computer.
